Veronica Lee Simms' Obituary
Veronica (Roni) Lee Simms was called home by our Lord on Monday, October 11, 2021. Just 3 days before Roni had a dream that her grandmother came to her to let her know she was not alone and that grandpa was there too, Roni said she felt grandma give her a hug. For those who loved her she was called home too soon, but God had other plans. She is survived by her parents Ron and Rhea (Hartin) Simms, her siblings, Hunter, Dane (Bianca) Ryder, Easton & Ceriani, Carson, Blake and Michelle and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Roni’s life was full of sorrow and challenges. But in spite of this she had the biggest, kindest heart I’ve ever known. She always thought of others and would help in anyway she could day or night. If someone needed a ride she would be there. She enjoyed baking and cooking, always making enough to share with her friends. Roni never had much but what she had she always shared.
I recently told her how amazed I was that in spite of all her heartbreak and challenges her heart remained open and giving to those around her. That God had blessed her with the gift of a giving loving heart and she never lost this gift. She always gave which brought her so much joy. For me she was such a beautiful example of how to give to others. I cherish the time we spent together and wait for her hug when we are together again in our final home. Loving you always and for eternity, Mom
