Fireworks on the 4th of July, shopping, hanging out, laughing our asses off, watching movies, roni's baked snacks and goodies she would always bring over. Where do start? Roni was always a fun person to be around. She was a one of a kind. I'll never forget her.
I have a lot of great childhood memories with Roni because our moms were always together, so us kids were too. Roni always took us everywhere and with that I have a lot of fun memories. We’d all pile in the back of the van and go to the drive ins. She always took us to the Placerville cabin every summer, every holiday. The girls against the boys cabin wars. The boys went to put frog legs in the girls shoes as their prank and she wouldn’t let them put in mine (sorry Miss and Jordi 😆). I was the youngest of the girls so she was more protective. She’d always take us up to her dads house which was of course the coolest house ever. I have a distinct memory of her always giving me rides to dr and dentist apts before I drove (me and Alex). I probably started asking too much because then I needed to give her $5 bucks for gas lol, but she still always made sure I got there and helped me. Also, riding in her flamed cameo was way cooler than a bus.
I know life took its turns in later years but It brings me happiness to hear that you’re now with Grandma and Grandpa in Heaven. ❤️
Roni was the oldest cousin of a billion of us. So many childhood memories are with Roni and all our cousins. She would make pizza for us and shove us all in the back of the Simms van and take us to the drive ins. Every Thanksgiving she would take a handful of us to the theatre after dinner. She would Play a game where she played music and when it stopped we had to freeze. We would get stickers as prizes. Her love of Motley Crue and 80’s hair bands. I never felt like a little cousin, she always made me feel like her friend. I will miss you Roni. I love you. Missy ❤️
