I just found out about Suneel’s passing today; it is such a shock. He was one of the few people with whom I looked forward to speaking to, whether on the phone or in person. I would stop by in San Ramon while working and visit or go to lunch. Afterward I always felt happy having spent time with him. We discussed work, but also family and football (soccer primarily Premier League). He was such a generous and enjoyable spirit. I’m going to miss him forever. Jim Cartwright
I worked with Suneel at Mapfre Insurance. I think it is important for his family and friends to know what an impact he had on his co-workers. I?m in the business development department where there are a lot of remote employees. Suneel had is work cut out for him, trying to update or fix our computers throughout California, He conquered this through patience and perseverance, again a lot of patience with us. But most importantly he did this with sheer kindness and the need to get it done as soon as possible? He was our guardian of computers. But Suneels talents did not end there?. He was known for his amazing chicken curry during potlucks. Every time he made it, there was someone asking for his recipe?.. when they did, you saw Suneel,, as humble as he was,, very proud. And if you looked in his eyes at that moment, you could see the glimpse of proudness?and saying, yep I?m the man?? Suneel we are blessed to be a part of your journey of life and thank you for your time you have shared with us. We at Mapfre will always cherish the memories.
It was a pleasure working with Suneel. I never had the chance to meet him in person, but we worked together thru emails, chat, and on the phone. He was a nice guy.
