Scott Thomas Clark's Obituary
Scott Thomas Clark, born on March 18, 1950 in Oakland, California, passed away on March 19, 2026 in Modesto, California one day after his 76th birthday. He lived a life marked by service, dedication, and a deep love for the people closest to him.
Scott and his wife Kathleen grew up on the same street in San Lorenzo and purchased their first home on that very same street. Scott proudly served in the United States Navy, carrying with him the values of honor, commitment and resilience throughout his life. His time in the service shaped him into a man known for his strength, integrity, and steady presence-qualities that touched everyone who knew him.
Beyond his service, Scott was a devoted husband, father, loyal friend and someone whose warmth, kindness, wit and humor left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Scott and Kathy began attending Fairhaven Bible Chapel in San Leandro in 1977 and soon after began their personal walks with the Lord Jesus Christ. Scott’s decision to follow after Jesus became his firm foundation for life in the good times and also the difficult times that he and Kathy faced together with the Lord as their anchor.
Scott is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Kathleen, who stood by his side through every chapter of life. Together, they built a family bond rooted in love, faith, respect and unwavering support. He was preceded in death by his sons, Jeffrey Scott and Justin Thomas with whom he is now joyfully reunited.
Scott leaves behind many family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory. His stories, his laughter and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be remembered for his courage, his compassion, and strength to press on. He lived his life with purpose, heart and unmatched fortitude.
May he rest in eternal peace.
