My dearest Uncle Sam. You are such a great uncle and everyone will miss you, especially me. There's not enough words to describe your humbling character and *first class" mannerism. You were always so kind, humble and loving. Your know Vince (my husband) is a carpenter and when I told him about your showing me your Nara (sp?) wood doors in 1989 in Angeles, you were so proud of them and I didn't understand until I married Vince and he appreciated your showing the Nara wood.
Vince and I have renamed the Kielbasa sausages that you used to bring to the Reunion and we now call them "Uncle Sam's Sausages."
Uncle Sam, please tell my dad that I'm still trying to be a better person since he left in 1989.
And also, Uncle Sam, thank you for letting me be a part of your life. You and Auntie Paring have wonderful children that I see are a reflection of your goodness.
I love you Uncle Sam and I will so much miss you.
Your niece,
Jennie (and Vince)
