I had the pleasure of being Pura’s activity personal, meaning I was one of many responsible to ensure she continued to have full and meaningful events in her life as she continued to age. Some of her favorites were flower arranging and making door decorations for each of the different holidays. She was also a sharp card player and often would giggle when she beat me at a hand of Black Jack. But the best time we had was riding on the bus to Coyote Hills for a Field trip, where she spotted and pointed out a deer standing in the Coyote Hill Marsh long before I saw it, then got mad because I did not see it fast enough when she told me to look. She was a joy to care for and I will miss her. But I know she is enjoying using her angel wings.
