Hey Pete, my dear and beloved cousin. I’m reminiscing about the good old days, when we would ride bikes together with Bob and Mingo. When everything was so simple. Then the high school dances. Though you were a couple years younger than me, I liked how you had your head on straight. Your loyalty to the Army and to your work. You married young, raised your family – and from afar, you were sort of a role model for me. Always the voice of reason. In later years, I enjoyed our text-chats about the Giants, Warriors and Niners, with Dave. I liked the closeness you had with family, especially with your dad. Wherever you are now, I know we will all be together some day. Maybe we can play some ball, have a few cold ones like we used to have, catch a ballgame or two. We’ll have a lot to catch up on. Until then Pete, enjoy the peace you have now, and may God be with you forever. Love you, Pete!
