Peggy was my dearest friend for 58 years, she was the most caring, and beautiful person I have known. She was slow to judge, quick to accept, and loved her children like no other. We had some wonderfully funny moments, like the time the Hayward Police got behind us one night, and followed us for about a mile and then pulled us over, we were both barely driving cars, and she was driving that night, we wondered why he pulled us over, so when we stopped, he looked at both of us, and asked if she knew why he had stopped her, and she said no, and he asked me if I knew why and I said no. He then said “Do you see that little red light on the dash, and what it means, we both said “no”, and he said that means you have your bright lights on and they are blinding all the people coming towards you, and we both started giggling, and he was nice enough to let us continue on if we would turn the bright lights off. You were so special and no one can fill that void, but I will be seeing you soon, Peggy, and we can catch up on everything when I get there. You will no doubt be the one making everyone feel welcome, and assisting them in. Love you, Peggy, and of course, the family. Lea and the Sabean family.
