We, the Fleur Maries , classmates of Pearl Rivera, graduates of St. Paul School of Nursing, now the St. University of Iloilo Philippines, mourn the loss of our friend Pearl. We spent three years with her in the dormitory and shared experiences of studying and working our shifts. We bonded closely and have kept up our friendships through visits, phone call and reunions. She was loved by all, sweet, soft spoken and caring for her family and friends. She exemplified the best of the Paulinian spirit. As she spent her years working and volunteering for the Dominican Sisters Convent Infirmary at Mission San Jose, Ca. Pearl lived the motto Caritas Christi Urget Nos. The charity of Christ compels us. We send our love to her family , Michael, Kevin and Kevin and all the grandchildren, especially Alexa whoined us at the last reunion in Kas Vegas. May her memories give you comfort.
