Martha Martinez's Obituary
Martha Soledad Martinez
10/26/44-6/11/20
Resident of Fremont, CA
God called home our Beloved Mother Martha Soledad Martinez at 75 years old on June 11, 2020. Despite Pandemic restrictions she was surrounded with a technological outpour of love through messages and videos from family near and far that were unable to visit.
Martha was born in Central, NM on October 26, 1944. As a Matriarch for the family, in 1966 she went from a small pueblo in New Mexico to California with her husband Juan Felipe Martinez to make a better life for their children. They Celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2009 before his untimely passing in 2010. Martha as a devout Catholic was a “Mother to all” and prided herself on caring for each of God’s creations. This included 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces/nephews, and “her babies” from her home business “Little Bits Daycare”.
Martha is survived by her Mother Aurelia Mejia, her Son Albert “Beto” Martinez & family, her Daughter Brenda Martinez & family, her Daughter-in-Law Ruth “Cookie” Martinez & family, and her Siblings Raymond Molinar, Maggie Mejia, John Mejia & their families.
In remembrance of predeceased: Husband Juan Felipe Martinez, Sons Jose A. Martinez & Robert “Topper” Martinez, Granddaughter Catalina M. Martinez, Father Albert Molinar, and Brother Georgie Mejia.
Martha had an extremely loving heart and provided a loving home for friends and family to gather.
Although we are unable to gather as we normally would at her matriarchal home, we will be having a celebration of life at a later date. A private ceremony will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and she will be laid to rest with her husband at The Chapel of the Chimes Cemetery
