So very sorry to hear of Martha's passing. We could never have asked for better neighbors than Phil and Martha. She always made sure to invite us to the special family gatherings and I will always look back with fond memories of their 50th Anniversary party. I couldn't begin to count the hours spent chatting about nothing in particular, just enjoying each others company. She was an unbelievably special person. My heart breaks for her family and all the people who called her friend. One of my most special memories would have to be the informal "neighborhood watch" we had. Everyone looked out for everyone else on that end of the street (although we used to kid all the time that we were just being nosey-not). I could never have thanked her enough for her calling John the night I was rushed to the emergency room. Any time an emergency vehicle showed ip, the neighbors would be out to force to see what they could do. That would sum up Martha, ALWAYS doing for others. Whether it was checking in on someone or praying for someone, her heart was always full with love and concern for others. At last she will be with her love, Phil, and Topper, Joe, and Catalina❤️. I hope she gives Mac and Monie a big hug for us. After a lifetime of of taking care of others she now gets to rest (so hard to imagine Martha resting). Our deepest love and condolences to her family. Thank you so much for sharing your mom with the rest of us💔. A heartfelt thank you to Albert for calling us and letting us know, we so appreciate it💕.
