Mom was a wonderful mother. Although she had very strong opinions, she didn’t judge even when I made some pretty silly mistakes. Thanks to her, the traditions go on through her children and grandchildren. My favorite saying from Mom: “If you can read, you can cook.” (Good thing we all learned to read.) Forever in my heart. On the occasions that I met Marie, I truely enjoyed her company. She was a strong woman who loved her family. I always enjoyed talking with her and learning her history. Her legacy lives on in her remarkable children and grandchildren. I know she will be missed by many I hope she has finally found peace among her loved ones.
