Lynda, (my other mom). Always concerned for the kids on the block. You had a heart that was larger than life. So much extra love to give that you and Ernie selflessly opened your family home to countless foster children. As a small child, you introduced me to the world of adoption when you brought home 2 new babies to love. They would become 2 of my childhood best friends and eventually my roommate! You showered me with love and always told me how proud you were of my little accomplishments! You inspired me with the incentive to succeed! You gave me my first “real” job working with you in QC at Atari. I treasure our memories working swing shift those Summers during the early days of commuting to what would become Silicon Valley. Especially sharing late night Chinese restaurant dinners with our Vietnamese coworkers!! You were never afraid to laugh at our foul ups and helped us to “clean up” our messes. You trusted me to “make good choices” because I was the nerd and rarely got in trouble. You gave the biggest, softest hugs that I rarely got from my own mom and I can still feel them today. You were a real “mama lioness” fiercely protective of your babies to the point that it sometimes created havoc. You made everything better and always showered us with love.
You were a one-of-a-kind, lifelong friend and I was blessed to have you as my neighbor for the past 57 years!!
Rest In Peace, my dear Angel! I pray that I can be such a warrior princess when it’s my time to go...
