This is an eulogy written by Lily’s cousin, Cherine Ghabour: Today we are honoring and remembering the life of our beloved cousin, Maha. Maha has lived a life full of generosity, kindness, thoughtfulness and love for her family. Although many of us live hundreds of miles away from her, she always did her best to visit us every year. When she came she would always have a thoughtful and generous gift for every family she visited. The upcoming holidays are especially meaningful as we remember Maha’s life because celebrating God and family was so important to her. We carry joy in our hearts for having celebrated so many holidays with her and her family. Maha’s family was the most important thing to her. Her generosity and love extended most to her cherished daughters, Claire and Christie. Maha was a courageous mother and always did her very best to protect and provide everything for them. She truly loved them with all of her heart. Maha approached everything in her life with passion and a generous and giving spirit which brought considerable joy to others. Her great capacity for love will be missed by all of us. God bless her.
