Joyce Ann Corey's Obituary
Joyce Ann Corey passed away at home on 7/1/2017 with her family by her side after a long and hard fought battle with cancer. Her faith and love of the Lord assures her of a permanent home in Heaven. She is now at peace.Joy was a native Californian born in Santa Cruz on 3/31/1934 to John and Bette Cracknell. She is survived by her three loving children, Robin Corey and spouse Antoinette Jaycox, Michele Corey and spouse Dennis Williams, John Corey and spouse Jeannette, two grandchildren David John Denobriga and Alexandra Cassandro, two great grandchildren Jackson and Jordan, and her sister Cande Watts and spouse Rich.Joy loved taking in rescue dogs, making beautiful jewelry and traveling to Hawaii any chance she had! She liked anything tropical and fulfilled her desire to swim with dolphins, and swim with and kiss a sting ray.We can never forget her passion for good food (particularly Mexican and chocolate, cream filled, Éclairs!) Joyce had a flair for crazy hair colors and fast Corvettes.
