Jong Heon Lee's Obituary
Jong Heon Lee was born on July 15, 1971 in South Korea to his loving parents Woo Hyung Lee and Bongja Karman. He was the second of two children.Jong grew up living in South Korea with his parents and sister until September 3, 1982. After moving to the United States, he eventually made his home with his family in Hayward, CA. He was a very smart young man and always studied hard in school. He proudly received his bachelors degree from San Francisco State University. Jong continued his studies and earned a Masters Degree from Santa Clara Law University.Those who knew and loved Jong describe him as being gentle, honest, handsome, smart and above all, a kind and warm hearted person. In addition to spending time with his friends and family, Jong loved listening to all types of music. In his free time Jong took delight in reading books. He also enjoyed playing basketball and tennis, as well as watching all different kinds of sporting events.Jong will forever be loved and dearly missed by all of his family and his many friends. He left this world much too soon leaving behind his adoring mother Bongja Karman, his loving sister Ji Lee and his dear brother-in-law Gene Choe, all in California. He also is survived by his loving father Woo Hyung Lee in South Korea.Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday evening, September 25, 2016 from 5 – 9 PM at the Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Boulevard in Hayward, CA. A funeral service is planned to celebrate Jong’s life on Monday morning at Chapel of the Chimes beginning at 10:00 AM.
