Jong Hyung was truly one of a kind. His intellect, passion, curiosity, and honesty would shine through his eyes when he was present. I was constantly the little bird following him around since I was a kid, admiring my bigger brother. And he accepted me as brother so I am so truly thankful for that. I learned so many valuable lessons from him. One of them which I feel is very important, is how to be funny. He could make the room shake from laughter. It was a part of his charm. He had an outlook on life that was like no other. He challenged the world and wasn’t afraid to challenge others or himself if it meant the betterment of the given circumstances. In the good times and the bad times, Jong Hyung stayed true to himself throughout his life. I will weep over the passing of Jong Hyung, a friend that I loved so much. But after, I will celebrate the life and times of him. I will not let his passing be a dark moment, but rather a light that will shine in my heart for the rest of my days to remind me of how precious this life truly is. I will rise with the sun every morning and live, for him. Thank you Jong Hyung, for everything. You have truly made an impact on this kid. God bless you, and rest in peace. With all my love & respect, Jongminee
