My deepest sympathy to every member of Jan’s family. Words are inadequate for me to truly capture what Jan meant to me as a friend and how she positively impacted me and other members of my family, over the years. Therefore, in loving memory of Jan, I have dedicated a light on the Bay Bridge to shine brightly forevermore in her honor. The link to Jan’s dedication and shining light on the bridge for you to see can be accessed on https://sif.illuminate.org/lights/5055 Here you will find the exact location of her light and a beautiful photo of her that was taken at my wedding many years ago. When crossing the Bay Bridge at night in the years to come, I trust those of you among her family and friends will sense her presence and know she’s still watching over you and bringing light into your lives through your loving memories of her. Janice came to us in the fifth grade at Newark Grammar School. From day one she was loved by all her school mates. Her out going loving personality made her a very special friend to u all. If we had a problem that we needed to talk to someone with, Janice was always there for us. This very stopped after living school but continued on though out her entire life. Janice will always live in the hearts of her Grammar school friends. Good bye our dear friend we love you. Leroy Carter
