I remember Him when we were in 7th and 8th grade at Saint Mary school in Des Plaines. We were the best of friends, but a life moves on , Jim went to Saint Aviators and I went to Maine West. I just found out about Jim’s passing today. He’s been coming to my auto repair shop for about two years now. Being in auto repair, we deal with a lot of upset customers (no one likes having to fix their car). But Jim was always so friendly. One day when I was swamped in the office, he asked if he could go pick up some lunch for me. I always looked forward to seeing him on the schedule. He will be missed. Cancer really does suck.
I was so saddened to hear the news that Jim had passed away. I worked with him at Ciphergen Biosystems many years ago. He was a lovely person and it was my pleasure to have been a colleague. My sincere condolences to you all. Sue Carruthers
