Kenny Sokoya
Dear Mrs. Fanuncio and entire family, Accept my sympathy about the passage of Jim. As in the Shakespear book – Julius Ceasar “I am not here to bury him but to praise him”, Jim’s demise leaves void in me that I started wondering why young, good and kind person leave so early. Because of my Christian faith that I shared Jim, who am I to question our God. Jim had fought a good fight in the face death he smile, joke, helpful, hopeful, secretive and optimistic with his health treatment. I thanked Jim for all he taught me professionally, good personality-wise, good Christian and good family man while we are working together in last 20 years at the City of Hayward – Public Works department. Last but not he least, I thanked Jim for supported me when I loss my wife in January 2013 by attending her Celebration of life in Antioch, California with other two employees from City of Hayward. Adieu my friend, my brother and believer. I will not say Good Bye but Good night, sleep well and till we meet in the morning at the right hand side of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Family, may the Lord in his infinite love and grace – to protect, to provide, to strengthen all of you to bear this loss, from now and for evermore. In Jesus name I prayed, Amen.
