Jack Shew Chang's Obituary
Jack Shew Chang, 78, passed away peacefully April 13, 2018, at his home in Castro Valley, surrounded by his loved ones. Jack was born in Canton, China and attended Galileo High School. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tung Chang and Chou Kue Owyoung; and his brother, Bong Chang.He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marlene Chang; his three wonderful sons Darrin (Nicolette) Chang, Kevin (Christine) Chang, Ryan (Brenda) Chang; his five grandchildren Nathan, Allison, Jeremy, Owen and Oliver Chang; and his very much admired older brother Kee Chang. Services will be held at Chapel of the Chime in Hayward at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 28, 2018. A post-funeral reception will follow at Tomi Sushi and Seafood Buffet in Union City.
