My dearest and joyous Aunt Hassie: You were always the great example of a beautiful person inside and out. Your shining light could be seen from down the street. You deserve to walk in streets paved in gold. Please save a spot for me with my mom, (Dorothy Pearl), grandma Harriet, and your baby sister Anna Mae.
Harriet Olson, (known to us affectionately as “Auntie Hassie,”) was my dear Aunt. My mother’s brother’s wife. I am only now, in 2022, hearing of her passing 6 years ago. I am so sorry for her great loss; and so sorry that I’ve done such a poor job keeping in contact with family after my mother’s passing in 1990. The world has lost a great living soul, but Heaven has gained a true Angel. Love you Auntie Hassie.
