Faye J Hernandez's Obituary
Obituary:Faye Jean (Martin) Hernandez, age 81, of Modesto passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born to the late Don and Theresa Martin on June 15, 1935. Faye attended Washington Union High School in Fremont where she graduated in 1953. She loved being with her family and spending time in the kitchen, baking and cooking. A favorite outing of hers would be a drive to Half Moon Bay to enjoy the ocean.Faye is survived by her husband of 61 years Christopher Hernandez Sr., children Paula (Mark) Nickell and Christopher Hernandez Jr., grandchildren Ryan and Ashley Nickell and Christopher (Deseree) and Emily Hernandez, two brothers Donald (Rita) Martin and Harold (Janice) Martin along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who she loved dearly.A memorial service will be held Friday, August 26, 2016 at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd. Union City, CA at 10:00am.
