My beautiful Tita Faye….you were a thoughtful loving aunt that was so easy to talk and share things with. You will be missed terribly and will always holds a special place in my heart. Love you Tita
I have many fond memories of Tita, as far back as their family home in Castro Valley to her home on Vargas Road and a few in Modesto as well….I even remember her t-bird…. as a young child I loved that car and remember telling her that when she didn’t want it anymore that I would take it even though I had no driver’s license….before her and uncle moved to Vargas Rd. She used to talk about having a ranch, with horses. A soft spoken gentle lady but a cowgirl at heart, I guess!! Tita was so easy to talk to and I enjoyed our talks whenever we visited. I remember my Wela used to call tita her favorite daughter in law (even though she was really the only one) I totally get it, she was my favorite!! Tita was a great cook and I especially loved her vinadauge (sp.) And her tamale pie!! She was a thoughtful aunt always making me feel special, especially at christmas and on my birthday…..her cards were signed “love godfather Chris and Tita Faye”…and even as a full fledged adult with children of my own a few bucks were included for me to spend on me! Tita, even though I can’t be there on Friday to celebrate your life, I will be there in spirit. You are loved and will be missed. You will always hold a special place in my heart.. Go with God my beautiful Tita Faye
