Several aspects come to mind when I sat down to write a note of tribute. All of them good. It started with Elsie’s parents, good hard working people that loved the Lord. Acting, doing, being as nearly like Christ was their focus, compass, and passion. ?The apple did not fall far from the tree? Elsie was always warm, caring and concerned about others. She was always aware of current events in politics, medicine, and and how it related to our culture. She made annual trips back to Indiana around Memorial Day….I suspect the race song ? Back home again in Indiana ? was a part of the motivation. ?The new-mowed hay sends all its fragrance From the fields I used to roam.? Perhaps the greatest reason was just visiting with family and friends. I treasure the memories of the conversations and times together. I was a always uplifted and encouraged to be a little better person with each visit. With great respect and love, Lynn Hostetler
