Dolores is a ray of sunshine, she brightens up the room and makes bad days to good days. Her “one liners” are the best; her” feistiness” makes me smile throughout the day, she embraced & loved my kids like her own (I appreciate her so much for that). She made me feel loved and appreciated, her legacy lives on inside of me forever since she is instrumental in my decision to finish my degree. I will utilize that degree to keep on promoting quality care and to help maximize the quality of life for persons who suffer from dementia regardless on what stage they are in with the disease under my care. I love you, Dolores, you left a big void in my heart (I miss your voice and your laughs), but I am happy that you are finally home with the love of your life; Rod and the chance to be with Patty after so many years. Thank you, Sandy, Jeff and Greg including the whole clan for trusting my family and me in taking care of her in the last (almost) five years, it was never a dull moment, we enjoyed every second of it. She is our family and will forever be missed.
