We love you Uncle Arthur. May you rest in peace.

We lived across Tito Arthur and his family when I was a kid, and his daughters Armi, Ava, and Ana were my dearest friends. He was always so kind, gentle, and welcoming. Quiet and big-hearted. I was too young to consciously think about it then, but "little me" felt Tito Arthur was a great father. Now that I'm older, a parent myself, and can consciously think about it, I know he definitely was. ❤️
He was a gentle soul — kind, thoughtful and very generous in his quiet ways. He and wife Sonia and their children Ava, Armi and Ana opened their home in Fremont to us, friends from the Philippines, in 1992 and 1997 when we attended the ALA Annual Conference in San Francisco. With Sonia, he toured us around the beautiful and famous spots in the Bay Area, treating us to lunches and dinners — our ever tireless driver, now gone home to rest in our Father’s embrace.
Thank you Art very dearly! Our loving thoughts and fervent prayers will accompany you in your journey. Godspeed!
