I’ve known Ameet for more than a decade. He was a mentor, a friend, and like an elder brother to me.
This picture is from February 19, the last time we sat together over a drink. It was one of those easy evenings that Ameet was so good at creating, where conversations just flowed. We talked about life, ideas, and everything in between. Nothing felt rushed. That was his gift. He made ordinary moments feel meaningful.
What I will carry with me is how he made people feel. Seen, comfortable, and included. Being around him always felt effortless.
It is hard to believe that a moment like this is now a memory, but I am grateful that we had that time together.
His absence leaves a void that is hard to put into words. I will always remember him like this, smiling, present, and surrounded by people he enjoyed being with.
You will be deeply, deeply missed.
