Alma Mae Reardon's Obituary
Alma Mae Reardon. 95, passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2021 at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, California. Alma is survived by her beloved family: Patricia Allen (Rich) of Brentwood, Michael Reardon (Wendy) of San Lorenzo, and her beloved grandsons Scott Reardon of Castro Valley and Austin Allen of Roseville. Alma is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Alma graduated from Campbell High School and San Jose State University. In 1948 she began her 35-year teaching career at James A. Garfield in San Leandro. She retired in 1985 and continued to substitute at James A. Garfield until 2009.
Alma enjoyed reading, going to concerts and plays with family and friends, and traveling. She was fortunate to have visited many countries.
Alma lived a full, wonderful life with her friends and beloved family. She will be forever loved and missed by her devoted family and many friends.
At Alma's request no services were held. Interment was at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, California.
