I was searching up my elementary school when I seen an article of miss A And this link came up. She was my substitute teacher back in 2007 at Garfield Elementary everyone loved her. She was the sweetest Sub, I remember she would always bring donut holes with her and would hand them out to students who would participate she had us all very attentive lol such a nice lady I will never forget her. May she rest in peace 🤍
I met Alma not too long after I started dating my wife. My wife became acquainted with her after her mother married into the Reardon family. She said Alma always treated her as if she was born to the Reardon family she was very kind and gracious to all she met. Once while working at lucky store in Oakland the subject of her son came up because he had once worked with my meat manager another co-worker heard the name Mike Reardon and he said I had a teacher with that last name mrs. Reardon I asked him where did she teach and he told me the same place Alma taught He said next time you see her ask her about me I guarantee you she'll remember me so when I saw Alma I mentioned his name and she says yes I remember Jerry he was an ornery little guy and I said yes he still is she said I also taught his older brother and sister. Her memory was very impressive and her character left a great impression on everyone she met, her family is very blessed to have had her as long as they did, she will be remembered as the caring loving and gracious person she was.
