Dr. Surinderjit Singh Mathauda

Birth Date: February 28, 1951

Dr. Surinderjit Singh Mathauda, 67 of Union City CA, passed away December 2, 2018.

He was born in Patiala, India on February 28, 1951. Dr. Surinderjit Singh Mathauda graduated from Khalsa School and received PhD from PAU, Ludhiana, Punjab.

He was married to Gursawan Bawan Kaur on December 5, 1976.

Dr. Mathauda was a professor for PAU Ludhiana, Punjab.

He was survived by 3 daughters Inderpreet, Gurpreet, Jaspreet, grandchildren, Kiran and Meher.

Funeral arrangements will be held at 1:00 pm, December 10, 2018, at Mission Chapel-Chapel of the Chimes Hayward.

  1. Dr. Surinderjit Singh Mathauda was great friend to me and he will be dearly missed. The moments and the time we spent together at PAU will be greatly cherished. I will always remember Surinderjit’s kindness and that special glowing smile which was contagious with anyone he came in contact with. I pray to God to give the departed soul eternal peace and also to give the family strength during this difficult time.

    Dr. Surinderjit was a great friend and a wonderful human being. He was always cheerful and ready to help any one in need. He was truly a person liked by one and all. I cannot remember any one from PAU, where he first studied and later served as a scientist, saying a single word against his personality. We will miss you Surinderjit. May God grant peace to his soul. I pray to the Almighty to grant enough courage to his wife, daughters and other family members. Good bye dear friend.

Dr Srinderjit Singh Mathoda was man of words and had helping attitude to everyone .He was an able teacher, researcher and extension worker.He was quite popular in the scientific community not only in the country but abroad as well because of his expertise in the subject of Agronomy and Agromet.His sudden demise is not only loss to his family , relative ,friends but to the Scientific community as well.On my behalf and behalf of everyone I pray to Almighty that the departed soul may rest in peace and give strength to the family to bare the unexpected loss of great personality.

  9. Dr Mathoda, we will always miss you. You have been a great friend and charming personality. The time spent with you, the happy moments are still fresh in my mind. Your untimely death is a big loss to the family and friends.
