The History & Meaning of Día de los Muertos

A beloved Latin-American tradition, Día de los Muertos is rooted in the belief that death is not something to mourn, but rather a natural part of life. On this special day, the lives of those who have passed are celebrated through food, music, and activities they enjoyed during their lifetime.

It’s a time when the departed are believed to return to the world of the living, joining their families and communities in joyful remembrance.
