Zenaida Santos Bernardo a Fremont resident entered into rest Tuesday, August 28, 2001 in Hayward. Born in the Philippines on November 17, 1946, she was 54 years of age. She loved shopping and cooking. She was an elementary teacher in the Philippines. At first she worked here in the U.S. in an electronic company but because she loved cooking she joined the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose in Fremont, CA who were in need of a cook. She worked there for 12 years and loved her job.Dear sister of Consolacion B. Perez of Hercules, Rosalinda B. Del Mundo of Fremont and Narciso S. Bernardo of Fremont.Visitation will be held Saturday, September 1, 2001 from 1:00-4:30p..m. and Sunday, September 2, 2001 from 5:00-8:30p.m.with a vigil service at 7:00p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward.
