Winiogene A. MascariBirth Date: October 13, 1926Death Date: April 28, 2018She was born in October of 1926 in Indianapolis Indiana. She attended Howe High school. Upon her graduation she joined the U.S. Army Map Service where she took Aerial photos provided by the War Department and converted them to hand drawn maps.Married for 73 years, she met Thomas at a skating rink where they eventually fell in love and married in 1945. Originally living in Beech Grove Indiana, in 1960 they moved to Hayward California.She was very intelligent and spent hours doing crossword puzzles. She was an avid reader and always had a book on the end table to read. Gene was a very artistic person. She painted, made ceramics, and modeled miniature fruits and vegetables. She loved to bowl and consistently bowled over 200.She was a wonderful wife and mother. She is survived by her husband Thomas, son Mark, daughter in-law Cheryl, Daughter Marcia, Son in-law Alex, eight grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.She will be missed by those who knew her.
