Thank you, Tom. Yeah, now he’s with Debi, Grandma & Grandpa Schuler and all the other brothers & sisters that have left us. That must be one party up there!
My grandfather was such a wonderful man. He showed me how to be loved and how to love others. At times he may have been hard on me but I know it was all for the best. I will miss him so very much but I know that he is in heaven with all of his loved ones and is no longer in pain.
I have to quickly share my fav memory of GPA. When I was in high school me him and gma went to the mall and ended the trip with a visit to dairy queen. We all grabbed an ice cream cone and headed to the car. When we got to the car I asked GPA how he liked his treat. He said it was really good but the cone tasted like paper. It was then we realized he had not taken the paper off the cone. Me and grandma laughed and teased him the whole way home. To this day I can’t eat an ice cream cone without thinking of that day!??
To the entire family I’m so sorry for ur loss I’m sure he’s with his little girl now
I guess it didn’t save my last post. I wanted to share my favorite memory of gpa with everyone. When I was in high school, me, gma and gpa went to the mall to do some shopping. On our way out we stopped at the dairy queen to grab some ice cream cones. We headed out to the car and when we got to the car I asked gpa how his treat was. He said that he liked it but the cone must be stail cause it tasted like paper. That was when me and gma realized that he had not taken the paper of the cone. The whole way home me and gma laughed and teased him. To this day I can’t eat an ice cream cone without thinking of that day!
