William F. Seward's Obituary
Beloved father, grandfather and worlds greatest friend, William F. Seward aka Whitey passed away peacefully on Saturday Jan 09, 2016 at his home in Fremont CA. Whitey was born September 15, 1925 in Ford City California, as he was the first boy born in that city, the mayor and local news celebrated his birth. At age 17 ½ Whitey joined the Marine Corps serving in many wars including the battle of Iwo Jima where the marines raised the infamous victory flag. Whitey was the most humble, selfless, caring, smart, self teaching man anyone could meet. He had strong beliefs in family values, and had God as his mentor in everything he did. After Whitey was honorably discharged from the military, he pursued his private life in owning his own business. Whitey spent much of his time reading books, he loved to play his saxophone enjoyed his cigars and had a shot of whiskey in his coffee or with friends. He said whiskey and cigars killed the bugs and was key to a long life. Whitey is survived by his daughter Sandra Seward of Jackson Ca, grandson Frank Gogliano and greatgrandson Anthony of Folsom Ca, granddaughter Stacy Gogliano, great-granddaughter Sophia and great-grandson Alan of Fremont NH. And dearest friends David Noorzad and his wife Anne who were always there to help Whitey and his family. He left a big hole in his friends and families hearts with his passing, may God bless his soul, and his smiley face. Semper Fi
