William G. Hill's Obituary
William (Bill) George Hill Mar. 21, 1926 – June 16, 2009 Resident of Tracy Bill passed away on Tuesday, June 16 at Sutter Tracy Memorial Hospital of heart failure. He was 83 years old. He was born March 21, 1926 in Hayward, CA to George Alvin Hill and Josephine Grace Hill. He was raised in Hayward, Fremont, Pleasanton and Tracy with his twin brother John and sister GeorgeAnn. He graduated from Hayward High School in 1944. On July 25, 1944 he joined the Army serving in Central Europe. He received the World War II Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and Good Conduct Medal. Bill was a member of the Operative Plasterers and Cement Masons, International Association of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO Local 66 for over 40 years. Bill married Marguerite E. Morgado in Reno, NV on November 29, 1975. Bill loved collecting Indian artifacts and eagles. He was a member and an Elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints since 1963 and was involved in the construction of the Oakland California Mormon Temple. Bill is survived by his children Linda Sue Sizuella of Oakley; Sandra Kay Klaren of Tracy; William George Hill II of Oakley; Clara Candice Hyczar of Discovery Bay; and Skip Foster of Hayward; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Marguerite on May 13, 1993, his twin brother John and grand daughter Betty T. Toney. Visitation is Monday June 22 from 4:30 to 8:30 PM; Memorial Service is Tuesday, June 23 at 1:30 PM at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA.
