William Earl Green's Obituary
William "Bill" E. Green, 92 passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 29, 2002 in Hayward, California. He was born on August 26, 1909 in Arcata, California. He was a resident of Hayward, California for 17 years. His most enjoyable hobby was photography. He also served as a Missionary for 30 years, from which he was now retired. Prior to becoming a Missionary he worked for Southern Pacific Railroad as a Signal Maintainer and before that, for the shipyards in San Francisco during WWII. He also loved to travel various places. He traveled and drove until he was 90 years old.Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years, Hulda Rena Green. He was also preceded in death by two daughters; Donna Conway and Ella Mae Rew, a son; Lester Green, a sister; Freida White and a brother; Carroll Green. He is survived by his loving sons; Delbert Green of Pittsburg, California and Raymond Green of Paraguay. He also leaves behind a dear sister and brother; Nita Ring and Newel Green both of California. He is survived by his 19 beautiful grandchildren and 39 wonderful great-grandchildren.Family and Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Sunday, February 3, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. at the Bethesda Home; 22427 Montgomery Street, Hayward, CA 94541.
