William Robert Graff's Obituary
William Robert Graff 83, passed away Thursday November 29, 2001 in Hayward. Born October 3, 1918 in San Francisco, California. He and his brother the late Russell E. Graff, spent their youth ranching in Escalon,CA. He served his country during WWII as a s/sgt in the u.s. army from August 1942- December 1945. He participated in many battles during 34 months over seas and received numerous citations and medals. After his discharge he worked as a truck driver, spending most of his career with Crescent Truck Lines. He was happily married to his best friend , the late Rosetta Mae Graff for 36 years. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Tim & Marina Graff of Modesto, CA and his three grandchildren, Sarah, Erika & Jason. He was "Uncle B" to Nathaniel and Joshua Wickham, and "Dad" to Edward Osborne. He also had many nieces and nephews, family and friends. We will all miss him very much. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial service Wednesday December 5, 2001 at 1:30 P.M. at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park and Funeral Home 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward.
