William Leini Fifita's Obituary
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of William Leini Fifita. William was born on April 9th, 1983 in Reno, NV and grew up in his hometown Fernley, NV. He moved to California in 2013. He passed away tragically on Tuesday August 23, 2022. He was a loving Son, Husband, Father, Brother, Nephew and an exceptional Uncle. He is preceded in death by his Mother Ofa Otuafi Fifita and sister Polini Matafahi and survived by his Father, Siosifa F. Fifita, Wife, Lesieli Feiloakitau Fifita, Sisters, Liliosa Pauuvale, Ana Vainikolo, Seiola Tupou Tapa, Penina Fifita Moimoi and Grace Ema Jameson and Brothers Watson Fifita, Latiume Tupou and David Tupou along with many Nieces, Nephews,Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins whom he held very close to his heart. William was raising his nephew whom he considered his son Vilione Leini Fifita for the last year. He was also expecting his first child, his Daughter Aunalee Ofa Viniate Fifita due to enter the world in November 2022.
William worked for Expeditors International of Washington for over 8+ years. When he wasn’t at work you could find him surrounded by family and friends BBQ’ing something delicious or cracking a joke to make you smile and laugh.
His presence here on earth is something that will be truly and deeply missed. His viewing and services will be held at Mission Chapel @ Chapel of the Chimes on Friday September 9th, 2022 from 10am-2pm.
