William Clayton Lee's Obituary
Of Castro Valley Passed away on April 22, 2008. Dearly beloved husband of 45 years to the late Wilda Lee (1987). Devoted father of Elaine Lopez and her husband Jim and Marcia Skalinchar and her husband Jarel. Cherished grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 7. Many nieces and nephews also survive him. William was pre-deceased by his son Evan Lee (1995), 3 sisters, and 4 brothers. William was a WWII vet while serving in the US ARMY. While serving he flew in the 101st Airborne, was a Glider Trooper, also served in North Africa and Europe. He loved fishing and was an avid Baseball fan. His greatest passion in life was his family and his country. He will greatly be missed by ALL who knew and loved him. William was a recipient of the Bronze Star and 2 Purple Hearts. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of His life on Friday, April 25, 2008 beginning at 1:30PM at the Mission Chapel of CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES MEMORIAL PARK, 32992 Mission Blvd. in Hayward.
