Wilbur P. Jacobs Resident of San Jose age 86, passed away peacefully at his home in San Jose late Monday, July 25, 2011. Born August 21, 1924 in Norwalk, Ohio to George & Cornelia (Greenfelder) Jacobs. Graduated from St. Paul High School in 1942. Married to Laverne Forrest Chaney January 10, 1947, 53 years. Served his country in the USN from 1942 -1962 released with honorable discharge. Worked for United Airlines for 30+ years. Survived by his children Ed, Paul, Teresa, and brother Robert, sister Rosie, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. We will always carry your memory in our hearts. “Going home”.
