Wendy Lam's Obituary
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Wendy Lam (Shou Lam Lee), who passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, at the age of 87.
Wendy was born November 12, 1938 in Guangzhou and served as a dedicated nurse for many years in China and Hong Kong. After immigrating to the United States, she co-owned the Chinese Great Restaurant with her loving husband, Wa Kim Lam.
Wendy's love, compassion, and dedication to her family will forever be remembered and celebrated. A woman of great integrity and warmth, Wendy's presence brought joy and comfort to those around her.
Her life was marked by unwavering dedication to her family, and her laughter and lively spirit will be deeply missed and forever celebrated by all whose lives she had touched. Wendy is survived by her husband, Wa Kim Lam, and many dear family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, at 12:30pm at Chapel of the Chimes Hayward. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate the life of Wendy.
