Wayne M. Tomecsek's Obituary
Wayne Michael Tomecsek was born in Oakland, Ca. on 9-29-47. He passed away, after a brief illness, at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, Ca. on 12-31-17 at the age of 70. Wayne grew up in Fremont, Ca. where he graduated from Mission San Jose High School Class of 1965. Proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Was an employee of East Bay Municipal Utility District until he retired after 27 yrs. of service. He was a passionate collector and to that end would frequent many garage sales, flea markets and estate sales. He enjoyed books, photography, going to the movies and chatting with people. His presence will be greatly missed by his sisters, nieces, nephews and friends. If you would like to pay tribute to Wayne, please make a donation in his name to the America Heart Association.
