WARTEMIO MASAKI NUNEZ SR's Obituary
Resident of Newark, CA. Born in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines. Wartemio, Tec to his family and friends died in Washington Hospital in Fremont, CA at the age of 68. He was preceded in death by his father Saturnino Sr, mother Maria, Sister Virginia, brother Saturnino Jr. and daughter Rowena. He is survived by his wife Hermelinda, sons JR, wife Lorrie, Roden and wife Jessica. Daughters Marilou and husband Charles Johnson, Wendy and Benny Voluntad and grandchildren, Genesis, Maddison, Angelica, Alyssa, Ayiana, Ayden, Grace, Alexandra, Alena and Kai Noah. Sisters Geraldina Magbanua, Lolita San Pedro, Zenaida Scibor, Gladynia Ganzon and brothers Alfredo, Francis, Gualberto and Waldenciano Nunez. Wartemio was a very caring, loving and hardworking husband, father and brother to his family. He worked in the airlines industry as a flight mechanic for 30 years and 10 years with BART and retired on 2006. While working in the airlines he had lived in many different places like Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Iran, Saudi Arabia and etc. He had made many friends through the years and mostly stayed in contacts with them till to this day. On his retirement he devoted his time with Bunduk ning Olivet Church at Santa Teresita Angeles City, Pampanga. He was instrumental building the church which the community benefitted from. Tec was a man who loved helping others. His heart was always open those who needed emotional and spiritual guidance. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Thursday June 6 and Friday June 7 from 5pm to 9pm at Chapel of Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward 94544. Funeral service will be on Saturday June 8 at 10am.
