Wanda Mae Hubbard's Obituary
Wanda Mae Hubbard Nov. 30, 1914 – Sept. 26, 2009 Resident of Alameda County Wanda went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 26th. She was 94. Employed by Mother’s Cake and Cookie Company for 29 years. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Al Hubbard in 1983. Wanda leaves to mourn her absence her sister, Barbara Kreeft; daughter, Judy Barber and daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and John Bateman. She was the beloved grandmother of three: John Barber, Susan Barber and Judy Mattos-Smith; great-grandmother of three and an aunt to six. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful, loving care she received from the entire staff of Eden Villa Assisted Living and Hope Hospice. Wanda will always be remembered for her love of family. A Funeral Service will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward on Tues. Oct. 6, 2009 at 10:00 am., followed by interment.
