Wallace Wendall Zinck a Oakland resident entered into rest Tuesday, July 24, 2001 in Castro Valley. Born in New Mexico on December 6, 1916, he was 84 years of age. Loving father of Peggy Parks of Hayward and Kurt A. Zinck of Fremont. Dear brother of Imogene Adams of Guinda, GA, Euteva Bukoweiki of Burney Falls, CA and Buford Zinck of Texas. Devoted grandfather of two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Long time companion to Loretta Mays. Wallace belonged to Neighborhood Church, The 39'ers Class. He loved to work with wood such as redwood Borel clocks and tables. He was a wood instructor for 4H. He loved gardening, he had a green thumb with anything he touched. He was a Machinist for 43 years with Sherman Williams Paints. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 29, 2001 from 5:00-8:30p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral service Monday, July 30, 2001 at 1:00p.m.in the Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home.”Service of Marked Distinction”Contributions can be made to the Neighborhood Church, 20600 John Drive, Castro Valley, CA 94546.
