W. Warren Harrell a Livermore resident entered into rest Tuesday, September 24, 2002 in Hayward. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on December 22, 1927, he was 74 years of age. Warren retired after 18 years of service with the City of Newark as Chief Building Inspector. Board member of First Assembly of God in Fremont and founding school board member of Fremont Christian School. Warren started Church softball league in Fremont. He worked with the Assemblies of God Mission Building Program, and he loved sports.Dearly beloved husband of Dorothy Harrell for 55 years. Loving father of Warren Harrell of Livermore, Randy Harrell of Fremont, Mark Harrell of Livermore and Ken Harrell of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Dear brother of Nancy Ludrick of Woodland, Texas and Charles Harrell of Houston, Texas. Devoted grandfather of thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Friends are welcome to attend a memorial service October 6, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. at Faith Chapel; 6658 Alisal Street, Pleasanton, Ca 94566.
