Voyle Eldon Dill a Castro Valley, California resident entered into rest Friday, May 30, 2003 in Hayward. Born in Arkansas on August 13, 1915, he was 87 years of age. Voyle was a mechanic at Longview Fibre for 39 years before he retired. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed bowling and watching all sports. He was proud of his military career and loved to tell war stories. He loved spending time with his grandchildren: James Petersen of Sonora, Dustin Ratliff of Santa Cruz and great grandchild Amieya Peterson of Sonora.Dearly beloved husband of Thelma Lucille Dill for 57 years. Loving father of Donna Ratliff of Sonora. Devoted grandfather of two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation will be held Monday, June 2, 2003 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral service Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. in the Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA.
