Virginia L Bailey's Obituary
Virginia Lee Bailey December 13, 1931 – January 6, 2016 Virginia (Ginny) has changed residence from her earthly home of 84 years to her heavenly home, prepared in advance, by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born and raised in Illinois and is preceded in death by her parents William and Mildred (Salmons) Scharp and her husband Harold Bailey. She is survived by one son, Greg, her daughter-in-law Anne and two grandchildren, Tina and TJ. Throughout her life she worked hard as an accountant bookeeper, retiring from Kaiser Aerospace in 1995. She stayed active in retired life as the treasurer for the Commons she lived in until 2012. Ginny loved life and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She had a way of making everyone she came into contact with, feel extra special. Going to movies and eating out with friends was a weekly activity for her. She loved to travel but only by car as she enjoyed driving anywhere her car would take her. She also enjoyed collecting geneology and contacting distant relatives for more information in her retirement years. She was a member of Tiburon Baptist Church and loved to sing hymns of faith.
